Amazing that without a PICC line or nephrostomy... 5-7 hours of broken sleep a day with an occasional nap thrown in seems so manageable. And that having a snuggly newborn, extremely busy toddler, husband who is working full time and then some, and a somewhat stinky dog who sheds everywhere make it all that much better. I have always felt that God was preparing me with a rough pregnancy for how to manage my increasing role as a mother and wife. So I thank God for that and for 2 beautiful healthy children and a wonderful husband.
Speaking of thanks, I wanted to take the time in this post to thank all of you who were so supportive during my pregnancy and who lended helping hands, ears, and a shoulder to occasional cry on. This was a truly humbling experience for me. I am so blessed to have such an amazing group of family and friends who helped me through.
Most of all... though the biggest thank you of all goes to my husband, Chris. I was thankful for you each and everyday during the pregnancy. You really got me through and you really stepped up and helped in so many ways even with working full time. I know how important your job is to you, but I always felt that our family came first. I thank you most of all for giving me a beautiful, vibrant daughter and wonderful handsome son. They are the best gifts a woman could ask for. I love you and them so much. And I know that we will create a lifetime of amazing memories as a family. And this blog will be a tribute to the memories we create... so for all you reading this, please enjoy we want to share this with you because you are all so important to us.
Love,
Andrea
